■ DEREHAM were beaten by an injury-time winner after a game that was marred by some dreadful refereeing decisions against both teams.
Young Kia Thurston replaced the unavailable Nathan Edden in the Magpies starting line up and had an outstanding game.
The home side’s Mo Hassan nearly put Thomas Siemienczuk in on goal in the opening minute but the ball just skidded past the striker.
In added time Spalding’s Dylan Edge was dismissed for a needless second yellow card but it didn’t stop the visitors scoring the winner.
