FENNELL’S STRIKE SEALS IT FOR SWIFTS

SWIFTS went into the hat for the next round thanks to Andy Fennell’s second-half winner.
The game started scrappily but it was Chipstead who struck first when Jonathan Hood picked the ball up and hit the ball sweetly from 25 yards past the keeper.
Heybridge’s equaliser came on the stroke of halftime. A free-kick was put in dangerously and Ross Wall rose highest and headed over the keeper and into the back of the net. The home side started better in the second half, creating a few good chances, but couldn’t conve...
