DUNSTON WON 3-1 ON PENS
AN UNINSPIRING afternoon at Hurst Cross saw Ashton United exit the FA Trophy at the first time of asking following a penalty shootout against Dunston.
The visitors from the North-East had the better of the early exchanges. Two minutes in, Richard Coulson hit Sado Djalo’s lay-off wide following a left-wing move and shortly afterwards Coulson’s cross was dropped towards the goal line by Greg Hartley with Sam Baird needing to clear off the line.
