LEISTON left it late to overcome plucky ten-man Worcestershire outfit Evesham United.
George Quantrell’s 87th-minute lob over Evesham custodian Fraser Barnsley sent the Suffolk side through.
On five minutes, the visitors’ Ben Hammett saw red for a two footed challenge on Adam Bailey-Dennis.
Evesham then defended very well as Leiston struggled to create chances.
Finlay Barnes’ free-kick was deflected wide while Ben Fowkes was denied by a fine block.
