■REDDITCH weathered an early onslaught from hosts Hitchin en route to a superb victory.
The hosts had four shots in the opening 15 minutes, but Redditch took the lead after 17 minutes with a goal from Max Sheaf and quietly controlled the game thereafter.
United’s aerial superiority was apparent and Hitchin’s best effort came from a Finley Wilkinson shot. The visitors forced two corners and the second produced another goal from a fine Ryan Wollacott header just before the interval. The third goal came after 56 minutes from good play on the rig...
