LEAMINGTON edged out Isthmian League visitors Bishop’s Stortford thanks to a second-half strike from Rackeem Reid.
Brakes skipper Jack Edwards had the first effort of the afternoon on six minutes, when his low first-time strike from Devon Kelly-Evans’ right-wing corner was cleared by Jay Porter.
The first half was scrappy, but it was the hosts who had all the half-chances; Reid seeing a close-range effort blocked while Dan Meredith and Adam Walker were also denied.
