EASTBOURNE gained their first competitive win over Ebbsfleet with an impressive display at Stonebridge Road.
Greg Luer headed in Chris Whelpdale’s cross after 20 minutes to send Danny Bloor’s men through.
It was no more than Eastbourne deserved against a below-par Ebbsfleet.
Whelpdale had already forced a good save from Mark Cousins before the game’s only goal arrived.
