BELPER TOWN progressed to the next stage with a comfortable win over Newcastle Town.
The players stood up well to the intense heat, and the Nailers took the initiative after 12 minutes when Revarnelle James curled a delightful shot past Joseph Slinn. Belper created some promising situations as the half progressed with Danny South missing the best of them after 38 minutes.
The Nailers did go further ahead just before the break when Kevin Bastos slipped the ball through to Cameron Johnson who executed a fine finish.
