LEIGHTON Town produced a scorching display to get the better of Kempston Rovers.
Leighton piled on the early pressure, without managing to force a breakthrough.
The first half ended on a dramatic note when a Rovers player was given his marching orders for striking out at Town’s Seb Simpson in the 44th minute.
Then Gary Finn’s side took the lead before the break through Jack Quigley. Bettering an earlier effort, he calmly found the bottom right corner to push the hosts ahead.
