NORTH Ferriby breezed into the firstround proper with a thumping win over Atherton Collieries.
The Villagers raced into the lead in the opening six minutes. Joel Shortland delivered a corner and found Josh Whiteley. His shot hit a post but Tom Corner was on hand to poke him from close range.
The visitors nearly levelled when a looping header rattled the Ferriby crossbar.
Ferriby doubled their lead when Whiteley found space down the left and played a great cross into the area which was not dealt with by the Atherton defence. Danny Earl...
