A THUMPING first-half header from defender Dan Vann proved enough to edge Stratford into the next round.
The Bards dominated the opening half but only had a solitary goal to show for their efforts at the interval.
Riley O’Sullivan and Chris Hussey put early opportunities wide before Callum Ebanks was denied by a superb save from Kieran Preston who pushed his shot onto a post after 28 minutes.
