WALSALL Wood continued their first ever FA Trophy run in dramatic fashion as they knocked out higher-ranked Guiseley in a dramatic penalty shootout.
The Northern Premier League visitors, who had reached the latter stages of the competition in recent years, started the better and looked eager to make their mark early on with Leigh Whelan’s header from point-blank range having to be tipped over by Kieran Boucher in the Wood goal.
