MICKLEOVER inflicted a first home loss on Worksop Town since December 2022 to progress to the second round proper.
It was a poor overall performance from the Tigers, but they went the closest to the first goal when Vaughan Redford’s effort was curled against the upright.
Oliver Greaves opened the scoring after 18 minutes after a good cross from Ryan Wilson was pinpoint towards the back post, and the winger arrived late to power the header past the keeper, despite Paul Cooper almost making the save.
