HENDON thoroughly deserved this win against Eastbourne Borough.
After the first quarter, the Greens dominated most of the game. They were already grateful to goalkeeper Matt Kerbey, who saved a 16th-minute penalty, taken by DeCarrey Sheriff, following a foul on Fletcher Holman.
Joe White, twice, for Hendon, and Holman, were off-target with efforts before half-time and the teams turned around all-square and goalless.
