■ BIGGLESWADE edged past fellow Southern League Division One Central side Hertford Town on penalties after the visitors twice came from behind to level.
The hosts took the lead in 29th minute when a peach of a cross from Luke Oswick allowed Daniel Bond to volley home from close range.
Hertford levelled nine minutes later when Archie O’Brien drove home.
FC got their noses back in front just after the hour mark when Bond guided a free-kick around the wall and into the net. The visitors forced a shoot-out when sub Lanre Balogun combined with Kenny Mupomba...
