GOALKEEPER Christian North was the penalty shootout hero as his decisive strike sent ten-man Tilbury through.
The Dockers took the lead through Alex Akrofi’s close-range header.
Welwyn were handed a lifeline with ten minutes left as Alfie Fry was shown a second yellow card for time wasting and the visitors made the most of the extra man through Bailey Stevenson, who netted from the spot to send the game to a penalty shoot-out.
