THAME WAY TO LOSE FOR WESTFIELD

THAME United progressed in the FA Trophy with a solid victory against Westfield in Surrey yesterday.
The Red Kites opened the scoring on 15 minutes via the penalty spot – goalkeeper Hugo Sobte causing the offence – and he guessed wrong as Harry Alexander successfully converted from 18 yards.
Dan West doubled the lead for the away team on 32 minutes, taking full advantage of an errant back-pass from Manolis Gogonas which West leapt on before tucking the ball away.
