ANSTEY Nomads caused an upset with a narrow win against Bedford Town at the Eyrie, with Oscar Tonge’s winning goal coming immediately after the restart.
The first half was nearly as dismal as the weather, although the Eagles nearly took an early lead when a Sam Brown throw was headed goalwards, but Anthony Nunez dived to save.
