Leek Town put in a determined and disciplined performance to overcome opponents from a division higher.

Louis Potts’ composed finish on 62 minutes – combined with defensive resilience – was enough for Leek to extend National League North Scarborough’s run without an FA Trophy victory to 12 seasons.
The opening stages saw Town denied a penalty when Alex Hurst latched onto Potts’ flicked header inside the area and was caught by the challenge of Kieran Weledji but no spot-kick was awarded.
