■ LEAMINGTON put an end to their dismal ten-match run without a win by defeating Maidenhead United with a goal in each half in this National League North versus South clash.
The outpouring of joy and relief from the home support was evident as Ewan Williams tapped home a birthday goal after Magpies goalkeeper Jordi van Stappershoef could only parry Tim Berridge’s cross into his path.
