MATT’S SO BLOOMING PROUD

MATT BLOOMER knows more than most about the talented young players at Cleethorpes Town.
The year-long defender used to coach most of them at a local academy.
Now they are team-mates and he says he will be proud to play alongside them at Wembley today.
“I was born and bred here,” Bloomer said. “I’ve taught a lot of these kids at college and involved when they were coming through the ranks.
“Along with John McDermott, the former Grimsby Town player who is director of football here, we coached the lads.
