BURNHAM WON 4-2 ON PENS
BEN LOFTUS and Taylor Banks emerged shootout heroes as Burnham Ramblers produced a dramatic giant-killing in the FA Vase.
The Eastern Counties Division One South outfit toppled their visitors from the level above when the dreaded spotkicks were needed following a scoreless 90 minutes.
That was Loftus’ cue to give Ramblers the advantage by saving the first penalty of the shootout and the hosts had clear breathing space when Ely blazed their third effort wide.
