LATE drama brought goals and a penalty shootout that saw Jamie Aspinall save three spot kicks as Longridge came from a goal down to stun Newcastle Benfield.
The home side dominated the first half and would have scored three but for the presence of Aspinall.
The game then came to life in the last ten minutes. Layton Watts thought he had secured The Lions’ place in the next round in the 85th minute after he connected with a Dean Knight cross to fire home.
