GILDEA IS SO GOLDEN IN UNITED’S TOP SHOW

SUTTON UNITED made short work of United Counties’ Gresley Rovers to progress to the next round of the FA Vase.
The hosts were three to the good before the break thanks to a Joe Gildea brace and a strike from Matt Bishop before a second-half own goal compounded Rovers’ misery.
Midland Football League side Sutton took just 14 minutes to take the lead with Bishop finding the back of the net from a corner with an excellent finish.
Gildea made it two for United on 25 minutes as the hosts took full control of the tie.
