HAVANT kept up the pace in the chase for automatic promotion as they dispatched bottom club Grays Athletic.
Two first-half goals put paid to Athletic’s hopes, with their chances of survival all but extinguished.
And tests don’t come much tougher than Havant, still gunning for an automatic return to the National League South.
Rory Williams got the opening goal on nine minutes.
A neat move switched the play from right to left and Wes Fogden and Theo Lewis combined before Fogden fed Williams who made no mistake.
