REYNOLDS GOAL SHAKES MALDON

MALDON virtually said goodbye to any hopes of the North league title with an uninspiring display. Lowly Brentwood took all the points with a first-half goal.
In an opening half that contained little in the way of attacking football, Brentwood’s Lamar Reynolds scored the all important goal after 34 minutes when his shot from the edge of the penalty took a deflection to beat keeper Daniel Wilks.
Things improved slightly for Maldon in the second half.
