DAVID Knight’s goal with nine minutes to go rescued a point for play-off chasing Bowers.
It restricted the damage for Bowers, as they are now three points behind fifth-placed Haringey, after they fell behind on eight minutes when Waltham’s Billy Holland struck from the edge of the area.
The host were awarded a penalty after 64 minutes when Daniel Rimmel handled and was sent off but James Pellin saved Brad Warner’s effort.
The equaliser finally arrived, though thanks to Knight.
