A SCOTT HARRIS equaliser after 71 minutes gave Horsham a point that had seemed unlikely.
Ramsgate had gone close four times, including Jake McKenzie hitting the bar, before the duck was eventually broken.
A great move down the right enabled Tom Chapman to cross for Luke Wheatley to slot home.
Horsham had started the match brightly and hit the bar in the second minute but after that Rams dominated play.
Their midfield, with Danny Lawrence outstanding, took control of the game.
