CASUALS failed to reproduce their recent good form and didn’t get a shot on target all game.
Hastings got progressively stronger and were ahead on 17 minutes.
Barnwell Shamari’s gliding header allowed Kiernan Hughes Mason to ghost in behind the Casuals defence.
Hughes-Mason then wriggled his way through again and his shot looked bound for the net until Danny Dudley cleared off the line with a late lunge.
