LLOYD Blackman celebrated his appointment as the new Ramsgate manager as his team earned a hard-fought win.
The wind made conditions difficult for both teams and the visitors had the best early chance when Darren Wheeler’s shot was saved.
The Rams then dominated the rest of the first half with Alfie Paxman going close and Tom Chapman hitting the post. However, a superb move between Aaron Millbank and Paxman saw the latter slot home the winner.
