BURY DO DAMAGE BEFORE BREAK

FIRST-HALF goals from Noel Aitkens and Luke Read gave Bury their fourth straight home win.
They took the lead on 20 minutes when Aitkens found the keeper off his line smashed a low strike into the net.
Bury doubled their lead on 35 minutes after Josh Mayhew’s first attempt at goal had gone to Read and he duly headed past the keeper.
After the break Cheshunt pressed more but the Bury defence stood strong until the second minute of injury-time when a free-kick from Joe Clemo beat everyone and ended up in the far corner.
