THURROCK kept their promotion dreams alive with a win over Witham.
Town would have been ahead if it was not for Thurrock’s defence clearing the ball off the line on 25 minutes, while Bobby Mason made some smart blocks to stop Witham taking the lead.
Thurrock opened their account on the hour when Ronnie Winn headed in.
It was 2-0 close to the final whistle when Mark Onyemahwas uprooted in the penalty area with Jordan Clark duly stepping up to rifle home
