DEREHAM TOWN 1 THURROCK 3

■DEREHAM lost their penultimate home game against play-off chasing Thurrock at Aldiss Park. They had a chance to take an interval lead when Adam Smith released Will Sainsbury-Logan with a measured pass, but the young midfielder fired over As Thurrock’s pressure mounted, skipper Richard Halle headed home, before Jack Barham added a second.
The Magpies reduced the deficit when Ryan Crisp was on hand to net a loose ball from close range. But Thurrock restored their two-goal cushion through Ronnie Winn.
