■FAVERSHAM recorded a fourth successive clean sheet against Guernsey. In an uneventful first-half only a George Monger shot, that was cleared off the line and a Jamie Maxted longrange effort, well tipped over by Leroi Riley, threatened to break the deadlock.
Town took the lead in the 67th minute when Renford Tenyue delivered to the far post and Carl Rook’s cushioned header found Josh Stanford who teed up Sam Bewick from 20 yards.
Town had plenty of opportunities to put the game beyond Guernsey, but the one goal proved enough.
