SALISBURY obtained the three points they required for home advantage in the play-offs.
As the opening half progressed with Bideford playing into a stiff breeze, Sean Downing and Ian Sampson both sent shots narrowly over, while Ben Wood had a shot on target blocked by a Salisbury defender.
In the second half Salisbury rallied and scored within three minutes of the restart when Tommy Wright got on the end of a cross to lash the ball into the bottom corner.
