WILL SALMON’S 70thminute equaliser for Met Police destroyed Bognor’s title hopes as the Rocks needed to win to have any chance of top spot.
Jimmy Muitt’s 58th-minute goal gave the hosts title hopes as Havant were being frustrated at Kingstonian. But Salmon’s intervention left the South Coast side one point short of the Hawks’ pre-match total.
Bognor had plenty of opportunities in the first half but were denied either by wasteful finishing, Met keeper Brannon Daly or the crossbar.
