DESPITE a convincing win Bowers failed to gain a place in the play-offs.
Hornchurch had the better of the early play and took the lead when Abs Seymour’s free kick was headed home by top scorer Leon McKenzie.
Bowers quickly drew level when Callum Leahy headed home and went ahead when Brad Warner fired a 30 yard free kick powerfully into the net.
Lewis Manor headed their third goal from a corner and Warner netted when he applied the final touch from a long throw.
