WALTHAM Abbey were worried at the start of this game as they could have been dragged into the relegation battle and they attacked from the start. Witham did score first when youngster Chi Osadebe crossed for Scott Kemp to hook in.
Jack Daveney equalised when he ran through the home defence and scored with a superb shot. Witham were soon back in front when Luke Mallett shot low into the net with a loose ball across the goal.
The second half was evenly-contested as Abbey hung on.
