LEAMINGTON kicked off their pre-season campaign with an impressive display at United Counties League Premier newcomers Daventry.
Four first half goals summed up a one-sided opening half before the home side came more into the match before two late penalties gave a lopsided look to the scoreline.
Robbie Thompson- Brown led the way with a hat-trick, the first of which came on 12 minutes when he drilled an 18-yard effort into the roof of the net.
