BLYTH are still looking for their first win in pre-season after they conceded three late goals against Carlisle.
After successive 1-1 draws against Northern League opposition Spartans entered the closing stages on level terms.
Hallam Hope broke the deadlock 12 minutes from time with Gary Liddle and a trialist adding further goals for the League Two outfit.
After a well observed minute’s silence following the death of Blyth legend Jackie Marks Dan Maguire had an early effort saved. Robbie Dale then shot over from distance.
