A STRONG Boro side that featured Adlene Geudioira and summer signings Lewis Wing and Luke Armstrong were defeated 3-0 at impressive Bishop Auckland.
The pre-season friendly was over as a contest by the half hour following goals from Matthew Lovegreen and a James Fairley double.
The hosts took the lead after five minutes through Lovegreen, as he rose highest to meet Fairley’s free-kick, powering a header into the back of the net.
