CHELMSFORD continued their unbeaten pre-season campaign with victory over Essex neighbours Thurrock.
Rod Stringer’s team arrived at Ship Lane having already beaten Saffron Walden, Brentwood, Brightlingsea, Canvey Island and Enfield in their other warm-up fixtures.
The visitors took the lead after just ten minutes when Kudos Oyenuga cut inside on the edge of the box, curled a cross to the far post where Kane Haysman calmly volleyed past Bobby Mason.
