A BULLET header a minute from time by trialist Ben Williamson saw Bromley overcome a Crystal Palace side featuring Jordon Mutch, Jonny Williams and Hiram Boateng to open the club’s new 3G pitch in style.
With the Crystal Palace first team squad in France playing Metz, Bromley played their final pre-season game against the best of Palace’s youngsters and first team outcasts as final preparation for their National League opener against Eastleigh next week was in full swing.
