THE ROBINS overcame the Swans in a well-fought encounter.
The Swans took the lead after two minutes after a Joe Wilton shot was deflected off James Mayne.
Bideford’s Sean Downing brought a save out of keeper Oliver Hall and Ben Seymour had a shot blocked.
The second half was only minutes old when Bideford’s Billy Tucker had to be subbed after being taken ill, and manager Sean Joyce decided to change formations, and put on two more subs, after which Bideford took the game to the visitors
