JAMIE VARDY is set for a pre-World Cup boost with FOUR of his academy graduates reportedly offered EFL deals.
Last week saw 42 handpicked players – plucked from as far down as Step 6 – compete in a series of matches at the second annual V9 academy in Manchester.
Over 150 invited scouts attended along with several managers, including Southend United boss Chris Powell and Morecambe chief Jim Bentley.
