CHESTER followed up their midweek victory at Ramsbottom United with a workmanlike if unspectacular victory against neighbours Runcorn Linnets.
Chester joint manager Anthony Johnson said: “There were more negatives than positives, and we know we have a lot of work to do.
“We must iron out the sloppiness that gifted them a couple of goals, there will be more players coming in to the club and we are a work in progress.”
Chester controlled the game for long spells, but they will be ruing some defensive lapses that gifted the home side...
