HAMZA Bencherif has not netted once in 65 competitive appearances for York City, but he grabbed the only goal against League One Bradford City.
The former Wrexham and Macclesfield centre-back smashed in a 61st-minute half-volley to give Martin Gray’s Minstermen a lift following a 7-1 home thrashing at the hands of Barnsley.
York were also good value for their victory against a Bantams side who failed to muster a second-half goal...
