NATIONAL LEAGUE side Gateshead left Yorkshire with a win.
Steve Watson’s team were in an old Guiseley shirt due to their away kit being left at Gateshead and they had an early shout for a penalty, when new signing Scott Boden was brought down in the area, but the appeal was waved away.
The Heed had five trialists in their squad, including their keeper, and he did well to push an effort from Paul Clayton past the post.
Guiseley had the best chance of the first-half, when Kingsley James’ cross found Rowan Liburd who headed just over.
