NORTHERN LEAGUE side Newcastle Benfield and southern visitors Barking played out an entertaining draw on Tyneside.
The two sides traded goals and the lead in this end-to-end and competitive pre-season clash.
Joe Benjamin’s fortunate opening goal was cancelled out by efforts from Jack Devlin and Scott McCarthy before Abs Seymour levelled the scores in the 75th minute.
The home side fell behind in tenth minute as Benjamin’s cross was missed by Benfield’s Devlin and it bobbled into the bottom-corner.
