BRAD HIRD netted a first-half hat-trick as Shildon picked up a comfortable win at home to Long Eaton United.
Player-manager Daniel Moore and Jack Blackford were also on target after the restart for the Railwaymen, who have scored 12 goals in their last two games. Shildon opened the scoring in 17th minute with Hird curling home from 20-yard to put his side ahead.
The forward was then brought down in the box, ten minutes later, and he sent Scott Low the wrong way from the spot.
